Jason Ong's Sweetest Gift to her Beloved Wife, Angelita

Mr. Jason Ong is an Overseas Filipino Worker; currently based in Panama where he works as an Electrical Supervisor for about 4 years. He is working hard for his family in Dasmariñas City province of Cavite and he get to see them yearly whenever he has to renew his contract. The last time they reunited was in May of this year for about 2 weeks of stay and he had to fly back to Panama to resume on his responsibility as a Supervisor.

Mr. Ong had been dreaming of buying a compact SUV crossover as a gift to his wife and family. He then decided to choose Ford Ecosport which has enough seating capacity for his family. In August, this year, he browsed the internet and made an inquiry through our FGC Facebook page. He immediately filled out an online application; was processed right away and got the most awaited approval from East West Bank.

His wife, Mrs. Angelita Ong was there along the way to follow up and submit the necessary documents on behalf of her husband. Although there was a slight delay in our communication with Mr. Ong considering the difference in time zone, still we manage to comply with the necessary requirements for the release of their vehicle.

As an OFW who has been working tirelessly for his family, Mr. Ong made a practical decision to avail the ZERO downpayment promo. It was such a good deal for him and the monthly auto-debit arrangement is favorable to his wife in the Philippines since they have made it hassle-free.

On September 22, 2017, I met Mrs. Ong together with her son and grandson. That was their scheduled vehicle release. They had a pleasant experience while waiting for the releasing process to be finally done. They were delighted by the customer service through offering of refreshments and the visual entertainment while sitting in a comfortable couch. That was a wonderful showroom experience that may be quite different from other dealership they have previously visited.

Upon the final turn over, Mrs. Ong and family can't wait, but excited to experience their brand new Ecosport. From BGC they traveled the fastest route on the way home to Dasmariñas City. That was truly a fulfilling moment when finally they have acquired their dream car. Mr. Ong was grateful for the successful purchase after several weeks of waiting. There were some blockages along the way, but they haven't given up and kept their faith. That was the sweetest success when you have gone through with the challenges — not to give up but to go on further.

I am looking forward to meet Mr. Ong when he arrives back in his beloved country soon, and as an OFW, he deserve a heroes welcome when he finally get to see the fruit of his hardwork abroad and they will travel together to a place they call a home.
